| 22/01/08 - Big things.... Yes, yes, yes and yes! Big things are bubbling for 2008 with a brand new Barbecue Beats Remix 7", out real soon, featuring reworks of Mr Benn's inimitable bounce from New York's Jugoe [Bastard Jazz] and the mighty Mr Martin Brew. We've also got a very special digital only release in the pipeline featuring a more laidback sound than you might expect from the Leisure Allstars featuring vocalist Hollie G. Hollie has been working with Roni Size, Die & Clipz for sometime, and has recently been in the studio with Massive Attacks Rob Del Naja. The release will also include both minimal and maximal remixes from Bristolian super-producers Lukas and Subline. Also coming later in the year is another hot collabo between The Leisure Allstars and New York's Good People. We had to team up with them again! Expect more straight up funky beats and rhymes with some tasty remixes too. And...work is underway on a new uptempo, jazzual Leisure Allstars track which will feature the wonderful Yolanda on vocal duties! Watch this space on that one.... |
| 16/01/08 - Brand new! The Leisure Allstars start a brand new residency at Bristol's Elbow Rooms this Friday! The Allstars will be dropping the bomb each and every week will the usual blend of funky as f*ck mega mix multi-genre party tunes past and present. |
