Throughout 2010 we'll be serving up yet more top-drawer releases, vocal collaborations, dope remixes, and, needless to say, the chance to get down to the Leisure crew sound in discotheques across the land - only the best basslines, heavy hiphop, firing funk, bashy breaks, jacking latino house, dancefloor jazz, rolling drum & bass, rare groove, sweet reggae sounds and all the weird, wobbly and wonderful bassbin-battering stuff in between.
Attention!!! Brand new for 2010...

18/09/07 - I like big butts and I cannot lie.... The Leisure Allstars have returned weary but triumphant from their recent trip to Glasgow and Dundee. A couple of things we learned are that DJing in a converted library is way cool, the small but perfectly formed B-More/Booty scene is healthily rowdy and Glaswegians are a most clued up race when it comes to music. And here's a new chart for y'all... 1) Shut Up & Dance - Sensation - SUAD 2) Kidda Feat. Psycho Les of the Beatnuts - VIP - KIDDA 3) Chemical Brothers - Salmon Dance - EMI 4) Yesking - Champion Sound - YESKING 5) Jack Beats Vs Fallacy - Keep It ringing Feat. Skibbadee & Lethal 6) Bob Marley - Soul Shakedown Party [Afrodisiac Soundsystem Mix] 7) Barakas - Stobilo Bossa - Tru Thoughts
01/09/07 - Really? The Leisure Allstars were recently spotted weeping openly outside the Princess Di memorial, wearing outfits entirely covered in assorted Di badges and other numerous formats of memoribilia. They were not available for comment.

16/08/07 - The sound of NYC... A big thank you to the man like DJ Emskee for tearing up Bristol's Tube club last weekend. It was one of them were you think to yourself afterwards "Damn, I need to practise!" Seek out The Good People's music as soon as you can, you won't be dissappointed and youre ears will say thank you. Watch this space for more possible hook ups between The Leisure Allstars and The Good People, plus, the production team have been busy with tracks in the pipeline featuring Bristol's MC Dribbla and more sweet sounds from Hollie G.
31/07/07 - International body beards... A report has finally come back from Bodybeard Brother Vlad Hemisphere on the Exit Festival in Croatia. According to Hemisphere, never has such a concentration of excellent music, cheap alcohol, sunshine and exceptionally hot girls been witnessed before. I've literally just got off the 'phone with a very excited Bodybeard Brother Drake Scorpio, who is off to Big Chill on Thursday. Apparently his main objectives at the festival are to drunkenly pester every DJ to play Leisure Recordings releases, publicly set fire to copies of the Guardian, vomit into expensive off-road pushchairs whilst display his luxuriant body beard as much as possible throughout. And finally, Bodybeard Brother Brian Munich is off to Portugal for an highly leisurely beach-based festival. Further reportage will follow shortly...
23/07/07 - Hot flex! The Bodybeard Brothers' top 5 new tracks to shave your back hair to: 1) High Contrast - If We Ever - Hospital This is so good it makes me want to punch myself in the face. 2) Jazzy Jeff Feat. Method Man - Hold It Down - BBE The Meth and Jazzual Jeffrey hold it down on this dream collabo. 3) DJ Vadim - Got To Rock - Universal Vadim's new beats are super-nice and smooth. Bounce! 4) Jono Fernandez & Nick Thayer - Stay On The Line - Lot 49 This also makes me want to punch myself in the face, but in a different way. If possible, get twisted to this asap. 5) Haggis Horns - Got To Lose Your Way - First Word Firing, firing funk. Crushing empty beer can into forehead now.
